Al Franken for President! "We're Al in this together!"

I want to take this time to nominate Al Franken for President!

While it is true that Al Franken's only previous experience with politics has been from hanging out with famous Democrats while belittling the likes of Bill O'Reilly and peddling his hate-speech manifesto "Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot..." Franken had a long and distinguished career long before he became "famous" for his political commentaries and dust-ups with O'Reilly.

He appeared on "Saturday Night Live" for many years, most noteably as the character "Stuart Smalley," who later went on to star as that character in the boffo box office smash "Stuart Saves his Family."

He co-wrote the classic film "One more Saturday night," and headlined the uber-successful "Air America" radio network which is now in it's 59th year on the air.

And now, he wants to represent the state of Minnesota as a Senator...

With a resume like that, one would think that he were more suited to be the dogcatcher of Nimrod, Minnesota.

Nimrod, which boasted a population of 75 townspeople during the 2000 census, seems like the best possible place for Franken to set up his home base.

With a 100% White racial makeup and a median income of $30,313... these people seem to be just the sort of people that Franken could represent as dogcatcher!

The people of Wadena County would be so lucky to have him! And we non-Minnesotans would be left to watch in awe and envy of these fortunate folk!

After a brief stint as dogcatcher, then and only then, would Franken be ready for his next destination...PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!!! And Al, if you ever need a Campaign Manager...I'M YOUR MAN!!!
