Say UNCLE

So this past week, two of our favorite Uncles ended up in the hospital. Sherry's Uncle, Rod had a slight stroke, while my Uncle, Bill had an intestinal blockage. Rod is still having a rough go of it, but Bill appears to be doing better and may head home from the hospital as soon as tomorrow.

In other news, this past weekend's weather was the absolute best ever! Temps in the 70's and nice (although sometimes combative) winds... it made us all have Spring fever! Even the dogs...
Sherry, the boys and I were dog sitting for Daphne and Gracie and so we took them along with Socks and Luke to the Park to play.

Poor old Luke still wanted to climb on the playground equipment, but once he got up there, all he could do was plop down, panting. He was so exhausted from the walk that he had to rest a bit. He drank a lot of water from the water bottles and then had to rest while the other dogs explored.

By the time we got home, all of us were tired (except for Jared, of course...) It was such a nice day! Last night we went downtown to St. Luke's Hospital to visit Uncle Bill and Aunt Charlotte, and then we drove home in a torrential downpour.

Did I mention we also got some new neighbors this weekend? A young couple and their Labrador (oh boy! New dog! Jared, Luke, Daph, Socks and Gracie were excited!) moved in next door... It was a great weekend, and then... THIS MORNING IT WAS FREEZING OUTSIDE!
WINTER IS HERE AND WE ALL HAVE DECIDED THAT WE HATE IT!
